Hi everyone and welcome to the start of my weekly blogs! It has been forever since I actually picked up my brushes, set up my easel and actually painted anything of substance. With the onset of Fall and all the beauty it brings, I am inspired to create more works of art. Therefore, I thought I'd update everybody on a weekly basis via my blogs on what I am currently up to, future pieces I will be painting, and my thoughts and ideas in general. I will also be adding a new page in the upcoming week, titled "New on the Easel", where I will post pictures of work in progress. I am also contemplating a "Hints and Tips" page to pass on ideas to fellow artists and those just starting to discover the fun of painting. I have had so many emails wondering when I would be creating new works of art and I must admit I have been so busy with other endeavours that interest me (such as martial arts, writing, and my "day" job), that my art has been on the backburner for a while. I do plan on changing this starting this week, as I already have a new 24" x 36" acrylic landscape piece started, which will be my first feature in the "New on the Easel" page. Watch for it to be uploaded by next week. Thanks for all the positive emails and comments, and stay tuned as I do plan on being VERY active with my art work this fall!
