Welcome to the official website for Canadian Landscape Artist Kerry Brown.

From the time Kerry was able to hold a pen, pencil, or crayon in his hand, he has always been fascinated with creating imagery of varying colors, shapes, and composition.
A self taught artist, Kerry presently enjoys portraying the Canadian landscape in oil and acrylics. Having grown up in picturesque Newfoundland , with its rocky and scenic shores, as well as dense forests and the backdrop of the Long Range Mountains in Gros Morne National Park, Kerry has always been fascinated by the scenery and beauty Canada possesses.
Upon moving to Calgary, Alberta in 1994, he was equally fascinated with the serene beauty and vast expanse of the Prairies. Travelling throughout Alberta and British Columbia, he became inspired by the sheer power and enormity of the Rocky Mountains, flaunting an air of beauty unsurpassed by most of the world’s wonders.
It is these scenic images, from the shores of Newfoundland, to the western Prairies and Rocky Mountain splendour, that Kerry strives to reproduce on canvas for the world to enjoy.
Kerry also dabbles in portraying Canada ’s wildlife on canvas, as well as abstract art. However, his main focus rests on portraying the beauty of the great Canadian landscape.
“In every river and stream, every blade of grass, in every corner of this country, there is a superb display of God’s beauty that is unequalled and unparalleled by anything I’ve seen elsewhere in the world. To transfer that beauty onto canvas is a joy and a privilege, a means of showing the rest of the world how breathtaking and diverse our country truly is.”
